Erasmus-IP Seminar on Mathematical Psychology

Dipl.-Inform. Cord Hockemeyer

General Information

The annual Erasmus-IP (Intensive Program) Seminars on Mathematical Psychology are mutually organised and hosted within a group of currently 13 European universities. Psychology students from these universities meet for about ten days to have a seminar on a selected topic from the field of mathematical psychology.
As a consequence, the language in the seminar is, of course, English (and, thus, also this web page).

The seminar normally takes place early in the year, either in January or in March/April. Participation usually is limited to 3-5 students per university. Therefore, the registration/application differs from the usual procedure.

There is a central website on the seminar in general.

Current/Upcoming Seminar

The Erasmus-IP Seminar 2011 will be hosted by the University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands), March 20-31, 2011. More concretely, it will take place in Schoorl near Alkmaar.

The title of the 2011 seminar is "Formal Models in Cognitive Neuroscience and Experimental Psychology".

This year (2011) we will have up to 3participants.

More information will be published here as soon as it becomes available.

Financial Information

Currently, we hope (and expect) that all costs are covered. Accomodation, teaching, food (regular meals), and 75% of the travel costs are covered by the European Commission (ERASMUS Programme). We hope to get funding also for the remaining 25% of the travel costs thus that everything (except, of course, visits to restaurants, bars, shops, etc.) would be free.
